Title: Contagion
Platform: PC
Genre: Survival, Strategy, First-Person Shooter, Horror
Online Interaction: Co-op, Multiplayer and download
Story: While a group of people were in town, a weird disease spreads and they hold themselves up in a police station. With no other options and the infected closing in on them they must team up and make their way to safety. Or die trying.
Ha ha... I don't think I read the story right... ANYWAY. This game is generally like the Left 4 Dead series but isn't. This game gives you the option of being alone, with a group or a "trust no one" type deathmatch where instead of working together to save each other. You must not only survive the zombies, but your fellow humans as well. I haven't gotten much of the game played yet but all I know is zombies can be a pain, literally. In most other games, zombies are pretty consistent. But in Contagion, some zombies can have a random trait about them. From as simple as the ability to rush their prey to being able to take more hits than their bretherin. With some of the co-op missions needing specific items to get to the end and a variation of weapons for people to use, this game can easily be better than Left 4 Dead in my option.
Rating: 90/100
Reason: This game is GREAT but my couple of pet peeves I've been having are some animations can cause lag, a swarm of zombies causing lag or some "Super Infected" where you can use almost a whole clip to the face and they'll keep running at you. Though I'm being light on it cause this game is made in source, fairly new and it hasn't had a chance to get that many updates. I still recommend it to anyone who has friends or is a fan of zombie shooters, not much on the horror side but still it's a zombie shooter, what's not to like?

Sorry about this
First off, this update should have been ages ago
But yeah, this has been put on a back burner cause I haven't actually been playing games as much as I regularly do, so if I"m not playing them, can't review them. I'll get back into the swing of things hopefully soon just haven't been in the mood for games. I'll try to get something out if I play a game that I haven't already reviewed
So sorry about the nothing full posts/ lack of

Aztaro Reviews PAYDAY 2
Title: PAYDAY 2
Platform: PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3
Genre: First-Person Shooter, Strategy?
Online Interaction: Co-op
Story: Continuing from the first game, you finally come out of retirement of your heisting days from PAYDAY: The Heist. Now in Washington DC with new gear, new contracts and new money. Better start making some hits to reassure this retirement will be longer and more luxurious.
This game, THIS GAME is fun, "You'll never have more fun being the bad guy", stamp it, see it on a shirt, I am all in for this game. With improvements from the first game with character customization, weapon mods and more, this game brings it up more than a few notches, it was pretty high up already too. Get a group of good friends and then try and do missions to not get caught, you will be entertained for HOURS. I would sing the praise of this game from mountain tops and high buildings but I'll save you all the boredom of my opinion [even if this is a review and a personal rating]. Improvements from the first game are mask customization so you're not longer just Hoxton or Wolf, it's a bit more personal. With a more heavily weighed shift to stealth it makes the game even more interesting stealing someone blind and them not even knowing till you're gone! But just cause it did that doesn't mean you cant just run in guns-a-blazing [there's actually an achievement for finishing a mission in 35 seconds or faster]. With improved skill tree you can be multiple classes and your gun mods can be from sights and barrel extensions like silencers or even ones to make them louder to silly things like flashlights and diamond covered grips for your handgun. Smarter AI, possibility of getting caught after a heist is over and missions with multiple routes make the game change each time. I'm telling you, YOU NEED THIS GAME
Rating: 90/100
Reason: Best game ever, solid, fun, changing. But the low rating is, this game takes quite a bit to run [on PC], I can run quite a bit of games from medium-highest graphics easily. This game though, I have to drop it so far down just to play and I still get lower than 15 frames a second and when you're on overkill difficulty on a pro job, you need those frames for aiming. But even with that penalty I can't stop playing, seriously "You'll never have more fun being the bad guy". Get the game, get some friends, this is a guarantee "you'll be talking about this later" game or even playing it more, don't let the rating fool you, it's a "general" rating, if my computer would be better at running it I'd probably have given it a silly rating like 101/100. But I have to remember that not everyone has a computer that can run like a supercomputer. Overall, just try the game, it's fun and one last time "You'll never have more fun being the bad guy".

Aztaro Reviews Jetpack Joyride
Title: Jetpack Joyride
Platform: PC, Apple products, Android
Genre: Maze, Collect a thon, Time Absorber
Online Interaction: Leaderboarrds
Story: You are Barry, you wanna have fun, there's an experimental "jetpack" in a lab. You, being Barry, know it'll be fun to steal and then see how far you can go to get away with it. It's on the other side of the wall... hurry up, don't let me be bored
So COMPLETELY made that story up but basically, yeah, there isn't much of a story to it. Sorry for lack of updates but when I remember I have this account I tend to forget the last game I played. ANYWAY this has been a recent addiction of mine and because it's an app or flash game, it's pretty addicting. Basically dodge the missiles, security lasers and stuff. So the game has replay factor they let go get coins and you can buy stuff like outfits, jetpacks, add ons for your other collectable rides and power ups. very fun.
Rating: 71/100
Reason: Great art, simple directive and overall easy to play and get absorbed in. BUT my problem is I can't afford a nice android or apple device and Flash recently, hasn't been nice to the consumers. AKA I get a bunch of lag, being forced to play it with nothing else but the game running, my computer can handle most modern games with another monitor and internet open so, might just be flash or something, other than that, easy to pick up and drop game.

Aztaro Reviews The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Title: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Platform: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC
Genre: First person, Third person, Action, Adventure, Sandbox
Online Interaction: Downloadable Content
Story: [I seriously didn't pay attention so I'll wing it] After a bad case of "wrong place wrong time" you are sentenced to death because of the rebellion leader, Alfred Stormcloak. Luckily for you, you're saved by a dragon and you start your adventure, killing one and finding out you are dragonborn. You now go on a quest to kill the dragons and people by screaming your head off.
[for a better look at the story go here Wikipedia.org's The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Plot]
Well... yeah... to much story for me... nothing against the developers but to much text, side quests, books and such it's hard to know what's relevant or not. ANYWAY after you talk to the graybeards your adventure begins, because GOSH DARN THAT MOUNTAIN. Once you do that, such a huge map, so many caves, jobs and tom-foolery to be had, even if I tend to visit lots of caves and loot more than do missions, I still like this game, I would play and if I get into it, hours will pass before I even realize that it just sucked up about 5 hours of my life. Different races, classes, jobs and stuff is nice for a roleplayer to get creative.
Rating: 77/100
Reason: Way to introduce your players "Hey go climb a mountain that will take about 2 real life hours to get to the top". Ha ha, yeah no I'm off to adventure, also the landscape is just way to mountainous, there's mountains deliberately set up so you must climb it, go around or fast travel and fast travel makes you miss A LOT of the game. If the mountins weren't such a HUGE issue, this game would be a lot more fun, like Oblivion, just PLEASE stop spawning dragons every time I exit a fast travel, PLEASE, those bones and scales aren't light you know!

Aztaro Reviews Saints Row the Third
Title: Saints Row the Third
Platform: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC
Genre: Shooter, Racing, Sandbox, Fool-around, Mini-Game, Customization
Online Interaction: Co-op, Downloadable Content
Story: You are the leader of the now famous [and infamous] Saints, becoming so popular to having product lines such as drinks, clothes, toys and more. But keeping to your roots you go out and rob a bank with your buddies Johnny Gat and Shaundi... with a movie actor practicing for a role. Long story short someone has set up a trap for your heist, you get captured, forced to jump out of a plane [twice] and when you make it back to earth you are left no money and no help at all. This is where you start with getting your revenge
Sadly I can't tell you more without spoilers and not the ones on the back of cars. This game is what most people want out of Grand Theft Auto when they run out of "serious" things to do. With Streaking, mascot killing, races, assassinations, "Whored Mode", television game shows with killing people and a WHOLE lot more, this game will keep your attention with it's supreme silliness. I went to watch the new games coming out, some so serious I almost forgot how Saints Row is never serious when I saw the preview for the new game. Anyway point aside, good mechanics, good navigation mechanics and customization. This game is something you want to play with friends around or to get a good laugh.
Rating: 90/100
Reason: This game is fun, silly and can bring some surprises. The problem is that Co-op tends to be glitchy, no matter how good the connection, DLC kills any new characters you make due to HAVING A TANK right once you get your first crib [aka right after bank heist] and being able to take over part of the city with a click of a button and get a decent cash flow. Though everything in the game, is fun, there's no doubt to that just needs less glitchy co-op, I seriously fell through the world, lost my partner do to a car driving though my bike on their half and I got stuck in the ground, unable to be recovered, definite must have.

Aztaro Reviews VVVVVV
Title: VVVVVV
Platform: 3DS, PC
Genre: Platformer
Online Interactions: To download
You're a captain of your ship, with your trusty crew you go out and explore space. Though one day there seems to be a problem with the ship, everyone goes to evacuate. You make it out safe and sound in another part of the ship but... where did everyone else go? You must use you ability to flip gravity to trek the remains and not only search for your crew, but figure out what caused the problem to the ship and teleporters.
This is a game made off the older principles of platformers to bring you a fun but still challenging experience. With only a few buttons and the map, you must go on a scavenger hunt to find your crew and cause of why everything in the ship seems to be messing up. They have computers with some witty and serious messages and most of the "rooms" in areas have neat names as well. This just has the feeling of an old game to it and that's good to see even in new games. Also if you're a completionist, there's some nice shinys that need collecting and if you do collect certain amounts you unlock game music to listen to on your ship.
Rating: 80/100
Reason: The good old nostalgic feel, the simplicity and it's down right fun, though some points get very tough and the screen changing from "room" to "room" can be a bit disorienting. Also some of the shinys aren't that easy to get, besides those, worth a play through or 2.

Aztaro Reviews Flatout Ultimate Carnage
Title: Flatout Ultimate Carnage
Platform: Playstation Portable, Xbox 360, PC
Genre: Racing, Demolition Derby
Online Interactions: Download, multiplayer race, leader boards and rankings
You're a new racer who thinks they have what it takes to be the best. The person who thinks they can take on some of the best like Jack Benton, Frank Malcov and others. But it isn't that easy, you must work your way up from the smoldering heap of car parts and destructible environment. It starts with a choice, Light and fast, heavy and slow or the medium.
If you like racing or anything about destruction and HAVEN'T heard about Flatout, you been living under a rock of sadness. This game is one that made HUGE memories in my childhood, a racing game with realistic damage AND interactive [mostly destroyable] environments? That's something that sticks with you for quite some time. This game when I saw it on sale, only brought back memories of 1 and 2, I spent HOURS playing this game, wasted a lot of weekends just to get the fastest car and then having friends over. We didn't even race half the time, we would start out racing then see who can fly the farthest or even do the most rolls. Getting back on track, this game has from tuners to muscle cars and trucks to SUV's so you can find your racing style. You can either be fast and win the races or you can imply the "rubbing is racing" rule with a 3 ton SUV going about 100 miles and hour to the face of an opponent. Or if you like, mix both styles! This game has races, demolition derbys, time trials and a bunch of mini games ranging from human windshield bowling to race the check points before your vehicle explodes! Even if you aren't a racing fan, this is a game to play with friends, it's fun, it's pretty and overall can make some lasting memories.
Rating: 95/100
Reason: Fun, fast, destructive and addicting. But I still have to be fair and review the game, everything in the game is basically flawless from menu navigation to racing but there's really no story, it's not like it's a problem but there's no story. It's just a character bio during loading screens that you cannot read without a camera or screenshot, other than that, great game, GET IT!

Aztaro Reviews Receiver
Title: Receiver
Platform: PC
Genre: First-Person Shooter [FPS], collect a thon, gun simulation
Online Interactions: To download
Story: You are a receiver, you have just survived the Mind Kill and need to help reshape humanity. You must collect tapes and fight off the kill drones to make it a better world for the rest of the survivors.
Sorry for the short story but there isn't much to it without spoiling it or going into details that you will overall forget after your first encounter with having one of the most realistic gun mechanics in a game to date. This game is all about guns, there's only 3 but the technicality and the realism to them is rather amazing. From something every game does automatically like loading bullets into a clip to drawing back the hammer, this game will indeed inform you about the operation of some handguns. Without me nit-picking everything in it to a joyful look of glee on my face for something that pays attention to so much detail, I'll save you some trouble and shorten it. You have to load your own magazines, advance your own bullets, turn off the safety, lock the hammer and more. The guns are a basic auto loading pistol, a standard 6 shot revolver and a modern automatic pistol with a semi and full auto firing function. With randomly generated worlds and item drops this game will have you playing for hours.
Rating: 57/100
Reason: I personally would rate it higher cause I'm a sucker for attention to detail and realism, this game has both. But with realism comes the annoying part, realism. Some people like the "Call of Duty" gun style where the bullets are sorted and magazined automatically for you, when a flying kill drone is after you, you too would like it too. Also how the aimer isn't locked to the center of the screen, but that can be fixed in the options so no complaining! Lastly, this game is very technical and hard, you have to hit specific spots on the kill drones to kill them. When they are shooting or chasing you down, that's hard, I like it, then again I like Dark Souls but that has nothing to do with it. Also bullets reflect "realisticly", which my problem was I'd shoot a kill drone and have the bullet bounce off the metal and come back and kill me, oh and everything is one hit kill so if you're hit, you have to start from scratch. New gun, new items, no tapes, which can get frustrating when you have a large percentage of tapes and accidentally shoot the wall and have it bounce back and kill you, going from your full auto pistol with 4 full clips worth of ammo to a revolver with only 1 shot, rather frustrating. This is a game for gun fanatics, not Call of Duty and Battlefield nerds, it'll teach you how guns aren't that easy to operate, but it's rather rage inducing.

Aztaro Reviews: Sonic Generations
Title: Sonic Generations
Platform: Xbox 360, PS3, Nintendo 3DS and PC
Genre: Fast Paced, collect-a-thon, timed, battle
Online Interactions: Leaderboards and rankings
Story:
Part 1: Sonic was running along when he hears a rather odd sound and a weird thing in the sky, it dissappears and he continues on till he finds out everything is torn a part, meeting a rather odd person too.
Part 2: Sonic is enjoying his birthday party with his friends, just as he's about to start the party some odd entity appears and steals all of his friends and wreaks havoc on the areas around him. after some investigating and a weird deja ja vu moment, he learns his world has been taken a part and mixed with all the other places he's been all his life, going to the old zones, fighting old foes and recollecting his friends with his past life self all in a pursuit to see who could have done this.
I am a Sonic fan [huge sonic fan] and I love this game, it's awesome. I'll probably praise this game to much but I love it, the modern Sonic areas are as fast as I expect Sonic games to be and the 2D parts mixing with 3D are a nice touch just some of them are, pretty challenging. They have a new incentive which personally I love, I'm all about "how it's made" and things like that with unlockable artwork and concept art. You can also get music from a wide variety of Sonic's games, from the Genesis to the Gameboy and even Sonic R. There are also multiple paths in many of the levels both Modern and Classic AND new power-ups for Classic Sonic like a Skateboard or the spike power-up from Sonic Colors. Another thing is they have little mini challenges for both Sonics weither it is a race against a bot, use of a specific skill, a game of skill and more! You can even fight some old friends like Metal Sonic, Shadow and Silver the Hedgehog, there's quite a bit you can do in this game. Before I start fan-boying this game I'll end this review now.
Rating: 88/100
Reason: Great replay value, great graphics and IT'S SONI-wait, no not a reason, it's got more than just running around so non-Sonic fans can do other things. The controls are solid and the PC version can use a controller so you don't have to be bombarded in 3D sections. I'd say more but I feel holding in this much Sonic fan-ness is going to kill me, just go and enjoy this game.

Aztaro Reviews: Poker Night 2
Title: Poker Night 2
Platform: PC
Genre: Gambling, Risk, Comedy
Online Interaction: To download
Story: This one isn't said but I'm sure it goes off the original of "just to play poker" if you wanna see the first Poker Night at the Inventory's story, it's here
This is the same game... that's only be about a quarter true if I said that. Sure they still have the Texas Hold 'em but they introduced Omaha Hold 'em too which is basically the same game but the players get 4 cards instead of 2. This time around you have some new contestants and a new dealer. You have the Body Guard Brock Samson from the Venture Brothers series, CL4P-TP General Purpose Robot or better known as Claptrap from the Borderlands series, Ash Williams from the Evil Dead and then Sam from Sam & Max series [don't worry Max still appears in a booster seat behind Sam]. And lastly the new dealer GLaDOS from the Portal series. If you wouldn't imagine it, I'll tell you now, more people means more stories and more comedy. This one has definitely brought a few more laughs in than last game. The characters portrayals are pretty darn good, I think even spot on, they way they communicate and tell each other stories will definitely make you wanna play a few rounds just to hear what they have to say. The game plays as it should, nothing to complain about, it's poker, unless the code messes up I haven't seen any issues with "bad bets" or "better outcomes being thrown away for a pair". With a bit more unlockables and even made it a bit easier to get them, this one is surely a notch higher than the original for me.
Rating: 72/100
Reason: Visuals good, the frame rate was a bit more stable too. The overall kicker for this game though was the new Omaha Hold 'em which made the game help me learn the ways to win and give me a sporting chance. Again, I will go back on, these characters being together are funny. It's a good laugh seeing them interact with each other. Why not play a poker game with a body guard, another worldly robot, a supernatural mercenary, a dog detective and an evil mastermind robot as your dealer?

Title: Poker Night at the Inventory
Platform: PC
Genre: Gambling, Risk, Comedy
Online Interaction: To download
Story: Poker night has been around for quite a long time and then moved underground due to the gaming ban which later was abolished. They have kept it underground just in case they try to take away the games again. Besides that just have fun playing some high stakes poker.
Not much to a story and sorry about missing last sunday [was sick]. Anyway this is a game of Texas Hold 'em with some familiar faces. Heavy Weapons Guy from Team Fortress 2, Max from the Sam and Max series, StrongBad from... [checks internet] the Homestar Runner series and Tycho from the Penny Arcade. There's even a cameo of "Reginald Van Winslow, former captain of the Screaming Narwhal, and sidekick to Guybrush Threepwood in Tales of Monkey Island" as said by Wikipedia cause I had no idea who that guy that let you in was. anyway just standard Texas Hold 'em with some silly conversations, smack talking and some odd collateral which if you knock the person out you can use that item in Team Fortress 2. Also there's achevements, unlockables and visuals, nothing to fancy.
Rating: 60/100
Good visuals, some funny humor if you know what they are talking about and nothing broken about the game but it's poker. If that's your cup of tea then it'll be fun, something to kill time, it's good too. It's a good time occupier but nothing that'll blow you away. Also it's fake money so... yeah go have fun.

Aztaro Reviews: The Binding of Isaac
Title: The Binding of Isaac
Platform: PC, Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita
Genre: 2.5D, Dungeon Crawler, Action, Gore, "What you get is what you get" [items]
Online Interaction: To download and DLC
Story: You are Isaac, good boy and son. One day the voice of God talks to your mother and begins labeling you as corrupt. So your mother begins taking things away and imprisoning you. Eventually God is pleased with her work but demands a sacrifice, that sacrifice is her own son. Quickly hearing this you try to escape your room even though it's locked as tight as a prison cell, hearing her steps come ever so closer. With a little luck on your side there is a trap door under the rug, jumping in almost as soon as your mother swipes at you. Starting your journey to freedom and righting the wrong this God has started.
This is a very good game, it has a dungeon type feel [almost exactly] as some of the first Zelda games with different bosses and enemies. It has loads of power-ups and items, bosses and difficulty to keep you playing for quite some time. The skills requited the talent needed is definitely something that can be taken in when laying but that odd Genre tag is there for a pretty good reason. This game can give you bad items as well and make your invulnerable Isaac suddenly become a cowering baby or an almost dead Isaac into a slaughter house. This game will make you rage, but it's short enough to where you can keep trying it over and over and over again. Is has almost an addiction factor to it and it has collectables, lots of them from the items that can help you to odds and ends that are hidden in levels.
Rating: 69/100
Reason: This game, be it fun as it may, doesn't have the same frustrating charm as Dark Souls. This one sense it's so short you can set it down and try another time. It's a great game but how easy it is to screw up with one accidental button press is astonishing. Sense it starts the game fresh each time, it's easier to set down and come back to later.

Aztaro Reviews: Tera Rising
Title: Tera Rising
Platform: PC
Genre: Massively Multiplayer, Action, Hack and slash, Graphics, Fast paced, Roleplaying, Free to play
Online Interaction: MMORPG [need the internet just to start it up]
Story: Now I only paid attention to the intro cinematic so this is what I gathered...
There were these new continents that appeared and they were needed to be studied but shortly after arriving they all realized that this is a very harsh and unforgiving area. Monsters roamed free and slaughtered just about anyone who got near and threatened the research that was needed to be collected to not only know about these races but to build settlements and live in the area. Being pushed to a lone island and asking for anyone who is willing to, to help not only protect the people who are there but research the lands as well.
Sorry for the disregard for story but with how many missions that game puts you through I just stopped keeping up, anyway Tera is a [depending who you play as] a hack and slasher mainly but it's so fast paced. Even the archers and mages are bouncing around all over the place, I seem to be very fond of the berserker class myself. Races are more cosmetic than a use but they are neat, customization is rather deep and it's fun to just fool around in the character creation, just a shame you can only have 2 characters if you're a free to player. But seriously, this game will keep you occupied and you will find yourself dumping some hours into it and it'll be mainly from "Wow even on the lowest setting this game looks great, what's next?". With an archer, mystic, slayer, berserker and more this game will have something for your tastes of fighting style.
[Added note: There is crafting and gathering in the game as well but it's secondary and meant to help take away some of the "too many missions" blues.]
Rating: 79/100
Reason: Fun game, great graphics and can get very easy to learn but the story gets kind of overshadowed easily for just "I wanna go kill and see the landscape!". As well as the missions, they are so short and to the point you can gather a group of them and be able to finish them all in one area, no need to return to the area or do the repeatable but for some small cash and experience. And a MAJOR MAJOR problem I had with it was it's controller option, it gives you the option for keyboard or an Xbox 360 Controller or Playstation 3 controller.
[Rant commenced] I tried the controller option after the keyboard and I am VERY upset and disappointed by it, seriously they messed it up beyond belief. Even though the sticks are analog they don't utilize them at all, the pointer magically becomes inaccurate and to top it off, the camera and menu navigation for the stick are the same speed! "My camera is to slow", turn it up, "now my cursor is to fast", turn it down, "now my camera is slow again". This is EXACTLY why the stick should be utilized! Because it's either full speed or it won't move at all and trying to make something that only moves at top speed try to move to a [remember the cursor is already inaccurate when switching to a controller] try to highlight something is literally a pain. I found myself going for the mouse every menu navigation then using the mouse for the camera then I just put the controller down completely. Sorry but if this is an option, please try better, but sense it's an option and the rest of the game is good, I didn't take off as many points. Sure the layout of the buttons and using the Xbox 360's bumpers to get to different areas of navigation was smart for trying to fit everything in but if the controlling of it all is, needless to say, crap then it's not going to be fun for anyone involved.
But the keyboard controls aren't only the main option but HIGHLY PREFERRED.

Aztaro Reviews: Ib
Title: Ib
Platform: PC
Genre: Horror, puzzle, indie
Online Interaction: None
Story: You are Ib, your parents have brought you to an art museum to look at some of the art. After a short while something seems strange and you find yourself alone with no exit, a painting with a set of foot prints leading to it. After walking to it you're taken to a different world where you must solve puzzles and escape monsters to get back to your world, or stay in this one forever.
Ib is a 2D puzzler with a very deep story, characters are well developed, levels easy to navigate and puzzles that get harder as you go. This game was made in a program called RPGMaker with sprites which look amazing and portray the game amazingly. There's so much I'd like to say but the game has such a good plot and twists that mentioning even one will ruin it, just play it! okay? Play Ib, I'll even provide the download link.
Rating: 90/100
Reason: This is an amazing game with amazing story and I feel great graphics for portraying it, with multiple endings it'll have you play at least more than once. The only hold back is that it's the same game with the smallest of changes that aren't really that game changing till the end. Though this has to be played, it's an amazing tale to interact with.

Aztaro Reviews: Jet Set Radio [HD Remake]
Title: Jet Set Radio
Platform: Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, PlayStation Vita and PC
Genre: Objective Seeking, Point gathering, Timed, Trick chaining, Incline Skate, Racing and advoid the enemy
Online Interaction: Leaderboards
Story: You are the gang called the GG's, being in Tokyo-To, a place where skaters and graffiti artist roam, you are trying to grow your gang and paint the town GG. With a total of 3 rival gangs, you must spray their turfs and in the end, tag them with your own insignia to show the town who are the dominate gang. Though everything changed when one of the leaders drops a piece of a mysterious record that everyone has thought to be a myth.
Jet Set Radio is one of those games who ideas sound a bit weird for a video game but made to work out... except when the police send tanks to residential areas and Apache helicopters to crowded city squares . Though this is one of those games you'll want to come back to every once and a while to hear the phenomenal music and simple yet fitting graphic styles of it's cell shading [I like to tease my friend cause when I put it on he can't stop watching due to the cartoon style graphics, colour and catchy music]. This game has a rather simple objective, spray paint over the rival gangs graffiti with your own, the problem is the more you cover the more the police will try to get you. After a couple of those you will then face the gang itself where you must label their backs with your logo, basically saying "you're ours now". And due to this part being more of a twist I cannot reveal the part after you beat them all but it does step the game up a bit. The music is catchy, the characters are well thought up for their short cutscenes and voice dialogs and overall differ in little ways which you can almost distinguish as something more when playing them. Now the graffiti, there are collectables to get so you can obtain more but there's a custom graffiti maker which is hard to control with a controller let alone a keyboard trying to be a controller. There is a way through a Jet Set Radio Graffiti Manager you can use any image as a tag but I haven't gone and tried this, apparently you can use any kind of picture as spray paint, kind of neat.
Rating: 90/100
Reason: This games music and mechanics have aged VERY well, this game is fun to play, watch and listen to so there's almost no reason you should buy this and enjoy a great game that had a console that died a big early. The reason for the 90 and not 100 score is because when you beat the game, you can then only have 3 new modes to play and be able to choose all the unlockable characters you obtained. It pretty much just resets the campaign and keeps your scores, characters and graffiti you obtained. Sure I play it over again but with repetition that great, kind of have only the secret characters to unlock, collect all the graffiti types and get the high scores on all the stages. After the first two campaign runs this would be more of a "I need something good to play".

Aztaro Reviews: Dark Souls [Prepare to Die Edition]
Genre: RPG, Third Person, Adventure, Free Roam, Action, Strategy, "Frustration"
Online Interaction: Only campaign mode with co-op and a surprise at times
Story: You are undead who was condemned to your eternal life to rot in prison, only to recall stories of that chosen undead who would save the land and rid of the Lords and the Hollows. This chosen undead is one to ring the bell of the over world and then must traverse the land to defeat the 4 lords then Lord Gwyn, the Lord of Sunlight. When a mysterious person drops the key to your cell and thus your journey begins, destined to become the chosen undead and to save the land.
Dark Souls is a game which frankly if you get mad easily, you will NOT want to play, if you try to get through it as fast as you can you will become good friends with your posterior or the end of a blade, over and over and over again. WAIT! Do not let this discourage you or steer you away from the game. Even though it's difficulty is outrageously hard for new players or anyone not in a "hardcore" crowd, this game can be concurred by anyone with time. This game has over all 3 basic styles but they can be mixed or soloed out and they are, Mage, Archer and Melee. There are differences like theifs have high stamina and high critical rates but low health and strength while knights have high strength and health with average of the latter two and other little tidbit with each class with the exception of the Deprived who is a "clean slate" or a character you make as you want. This game has just about everything for someone to like about it, the graphics are beautiful, combat solid and customization options the plenty on both player and weapons. With a large world to explore [plus a spoiler free one] the real interesting part is learning that most of them link to each other, finding out that an area you couldn't go to would lead back to an area you were at will just blow your mind thinking they are all one big linear map. Also the range of weaponry is both mythical and real world and each having a different handle which when you get one you can use, you can literally play out of your area of skill but some can be bad to handle and leave you lacking back in the beginning area. Each weapon having a stat requirement also brings a bit of skill to it, you may not be able to weild a large sword but when you use both hands you may have a chance to use it properly but then gives up your second hand to possibly a shield or spell which could be more helpful. There is so much time and effort put into this game and it really shines through, easily a game you can sink many hours into when you can really sit down and play it.
Rating: 98/100
Reason: Besides it being somewhat demanding on PC and the online being both at times trolls or when you get a bunch of souls and then getting invaded and losing them to a player obviously higher than you can get a bit irritating but that's just how the game operates
But the story, visuals and game play are what really make this game shine in history
